Privacy

The short version: your files never reach us, because they never leave your browser.

Your clipboard stays on your machine

Reading the clipboard, detecting the file type, building the preview and assembling the download all happen in your browser with the standard Clipboard and File APIs. The contents are never sent anywhere, which is also why the tool keeps working with the network switched off.

No accounts, no cookies for tracking

There is nothing to sign up for and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Anonymous, aggregate page-view counts may be collected to see which pages are worth keeping; they contain no clipboard data.

The one exception: fetching a link

If you paste a URL and explicitly press “Fetch the file at this link”, that URL is sent to our server so it can download the file on your behalf — browsers block the page from doing this directly. The URL is used for that single request and is not logged for any other purpose. Every other action stays entirely local.

Nothing is stored

Pasted items live in your tab's memory and disappear when you close or reload it. There is no server-side storage, so there is no history to export and nothing for us to delete on request.
